Submit a Decision in Principle (DIP)
Our streamlined online application only asks you for essential information, saving you time and giving you a decision you can count on. If you tell us the security address, we’ll run an automatic valuation through Rightmove to give you an estimated property and rental value as well as the EPC rating.

Move to full mortgage application (FMA)
If you’re happy with the DIP, you can move to FMA at the click of a button. There’s no need to re-key any of the information as it’s pre-populated for you. To save time have any payment cards handy as we’ll collect fees during this stage. We’ll also let you know if we need you to upload any evidence or proofs, which we’ll keep to a minimum.
Once you’ve submitted the FMA we’ll keep you updated by email and you can also check the status of the application in our broker portal at any time.

Underwriting
Our team of specialists will review your case quickly. If you need to speak to us, we’re at the end of the phone. If we require any further documentation, remember that uploading the requested documents promptly will speed up your case.

Valuations
We aim to speed up the process and, subject to eligibility, we can complete desktop valuations on remortgages of standard properties. If there’s any reason we can’t complete a desktop valuation, we’ll let you know there and then. If we need to complete a physical valuation, don’t worry, our team will instruct this through our trusted panel of valuers.

Offer
Once we’re happy that everything’s in order, we’ll send the mortgage offer to you by email. You can also find a copy in the broker portal too.

Completion
Once funds have been transferred, the case is complete. Our servicing team will welcome your client to ModaMortgages and we’ll get your procuration fee paid.
